Partnering With Our Communities

ArcelorMittal adheres to the principles of sustainability and cares about its impact on host communities. Whether by reducing the company’s environmental footprint with healthier practices and targeted investments, or actively partnering in various local causes through donations and sponsorships, we want to make our communities good places to live.

We support our employees’ personal volunteer efforts with company funding for the organizations where they give their time, according to the areas of interest specified in the company’s policy.

As Quebec’s biggest local recycler, nearly 100% of the materials that enter our scrap processing and recycling centres are recycled or recovered. We also play a major role in removing these materials from landfills, something our employees can be proud of. Our annual sustainability report describes the activities of all ArcelorMittal’s Canadian operations.
