Hugues Fauville
Vice President - Human Resources, Communication, Environnement and Decarbonization
Hugues Fauville currently heads up human resources, communications, environment, and decarbonization at AMPLC. In this role, he focuses on innovation and sustainability to continuously improve the company's practices and strengthen its reputation.
With over 20 years of experience in various sectors, Hugues is an expert in human resources management and institutional transformation. He began his career as a technical sales engineer in automation, process, and control solutions, before holding human resources and sales positions at Valeo, Faurecia, Roland Consultants, Société Générale-ALD Automotive, and ABN AMRO-Lease Plan.
Hugues joined the ArcelorMittal family in 2007 in the human resources department for the Gandrange site (France). He then took on the role of head of social relations for ArcelorMittal in Europe before assuming his position in the human resources department for Long Products – Europe, alongside his roles as CEO of Gandrange and member of the board of directors of Sonasid (Morocco). In 2020, he became Vice President of Human Resources, Communications, Environment and Decarbonization at AMPLC. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Integrated Metal Recycling Inc. in Canada.
Hugues Fauville holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from IFG Paris Business School and is certified in institutional transformation by IFSI (International Forum of Social Innovation).
