Marc-André Guay
Vice-president - Sales & Marketing
Marc-André Guay currently manages all sales, marketing and customer service activities for AMPLC and its Canadian steel fabrication and rolling facilities. In this role, he oversees a team dedicated to meeting customer needs, from initial order through to product delivery and after-sales service. It also carries out ongoing analysis of markets and the competitive environment.
With over 20 years' experience in the steel industry, Marc-André is an expert in sales and marketing. He began his career with Mittal Canada Inc./Stelfil Ltd. as a sales representative for wire products. He then held various positions at ArcelorMittal Canada Inc. including sales representative for flat and tubular products, and long products. In 2009, he became SBQ Sales Manager at ArcelorMittal LCNA in the United States, then SBQ/CF Sales Manager. In 2018, he was appointed director of SBQ sales, customer service and commercial coordination at AMPLC, before being promoted to vice-president of sales and marketing in 2023.
Marc-André Guay holds a diploma in business administration from Cégep Lionel-Groulx and a bachelor's degree in psychology, with a specialization in neuroscience, from Université de Montréal. He is also an active member of several professional associations, including CSPA, MSCI, FIA, IFI, AWPA, SRI, IAAQ and FIA.
